Headband with hand embroidery
These patterns where originally painted on wooden goods, such as chests, bowls and spoons, in the baroque. At that time Norway was a poor country, and the Norwegians did not have much material wealth. But the rosepainted artifacts were treated as the most valuable treasures. These treasures were well taken care of, and are kept so beautifully, they are still being passed on for generations.
All embroideries are embroidered by hand.The headband is knitted in 100% wool quality.
